Who we are

Volta® / govoltaev.com is owned and operated by I.S.T FOR INDUSTRIES (trade name: VOLTAAH FOR Innovation Technology), Commercial Register No. 73320, Cairo, Egypt. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, inquiries and chat services.

Information we collect

• Your name, phone number and other contact details you choose to provide when contacting us or requesting a reservation or follow-up.
• Your vehicle configurator choices, including colours, interior, battery, tires and accessories, and the associated price when you submit a configured inquiry or reservation.
• Your website assistant conversations, including messages, replies and conversation identifiers.
• Instagram DM conversations sent to @govoltaev, your Instagram sender identifier, username and profile name where available, and any phone number you share. Meta/Instagram provides this information through its messaging services.
• Website usage information, such as pages visited, clicks, session identifiers and activity timestamps. Our website uses browser local storage for session and activity tracking.

How we use your information

We use this information to answer inquiries, provide vehicle information, arrange test drives, respond to reservation requests and allow our sales team to follow up. We also use conversation context to provide relevant chat replies and website activity information to understand how visitors use the site.

Our website and Instagram assistants use AI to generate replies. When an Instagram conversation captures a phone number, we save the lead in our customer relationship management system and send a lead alert to our sales mailbox containing the name, Instagram username where available, phone number and an AI-generated conversation summary.

Storage and service providers

Website leads, saved configurations, chat conversations, Instagram messages and captured Instagram leads are stored in our Supabase database. Lead alert emails are delivered through Resend and retained in our sales mailbox.

We use service providers for database hosting, AI reply and summary generation, and email delivery. Relevant conversation content is processed by the AI services used by our assistants. Instagram messages and replies also pass through Meta/Instagram; requests sent through the website contact form are prepared for sending through WhatsApp. These services handle information under their own privacy policies.

Service providers may process information outside your country. Information needed to respond to your inquiry is used by our team and these service providers. We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising measurement

We use the Meta Pixel on our public website to measure ad performance and optimise ads. Visits, configurator choices and form-submission events are shared with Meta, along with browser and cookie identifiers. We do not send your name, phone number, message or other contact details to Meta, and advanced matching is not enabled. A Lead event measures a submitted inquiry, not a confirmed saved record or a purchase.

Where advertising consent is required, or your location cannot be determined, tracking stays off until you accept. Elsewhere, including Egypt, it is enabled unless you reject it or use an applicable browser privacy opt-out. Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject or withdraw at any time. We retain your browser’s choice history, timestamps, region and the notice shown as consent evidence; rejecting does not erase earlier acceptance evidence. Meta processes shared information under its Privacy Policy.

Retention

We retain inquiries, contact details and conversation records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, manage sales follow-up and maintain relevant business records. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion schedule for inquiry or chat records. You can request deletion at any time. Records that must be retained for legal or accounting obligations may be kept for those purposes.

Your privacy requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop sales follow-up. For now, use the website contact form for privacy requests; we do not publish a dedicated privacy email address. The form prepares a WhatsApp message, which you must send to our team to complete your request. You can also send a DM to @govoltaev on Instagram.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The current version will be available on this page.
